Armed police divers recover body of drowning victim in Bheri River
The victim, identified as Kamal Budha, a 24-year-old resident of Shivalaya Rural Municipality-3 in Jajarkot district, had drowned while bathing.

KATHMANDU: Armed police divers successfully located and retrieved the body of a person who drowned while bathing in the Bheri River, in Chaurajahari Municipality-3 of Rukum West district.
The victim, identified as Kamal Budha, a 24-year-old resident of Shivalaya Rural Municipality-3 in Jajarkot district, had drowned while bathing in the river on Chaith 30 (April 12).
Responding to the incident, the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 6 Maheshwari Bahini Headquarters in Surkhet, along with 4 divers and 13 security personnel from Gulm Jajarkot, were deployed for the search operation.
After an extensive search effort, the divers successfully retrieved the victim’s body from approximately 50 meters below the site of the drowning, at 2 PM on Sunday.
