58-year-old women dies of lightning strike

KATHMANDU: A 58-year-old Prem Kumari Shahi, a resident of Mohoriya, Modi Rural Municipality-1, Bhuktang, died on Saturday after being struck by lightning.

She was seriously injured due to a sudden lightning strike at her home and died during treatment at Manipal Hospital Pokhara.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
