Pollution has a serious impact on health

Doctors have said that increasing air pollution is having a serious impact on the human body. Contaminated air entering the body due to breathing causes short-term and long-term effects. Due to the increase in air pollution, deadly gas particles enter the body, increasing the risk of respiratory infections, lung cancer, etc.

According to chest disease specialist Dr. Neeraj Bam, air pollution directly affects individuals with respiratory issues from the beginning. They may experience worsening breathlessness, increased coughing in individuals with tuberculosis, blood in cough, and severe symptoms in those with bronchitis. Additionally, problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, Foxo syndrome infection, and pregnancy-related issues are exacerbated. Living in highly polluted areas poses risks of respiratory problems, chest pain, irritation, and increased vulnerability to viral infections.

As the amount of pollution increases, the problem of itchy skin, itchy eyes or redness is seen. Doctors suggest not to leave the house as much as possible or wear a mask only when the pollution is high. However, they said that it is necessary to pay attention to pollution control as the risk cannot be avoided by using masks alone.
