SINGAPORE: The H225M and CH-47F helicopters of the Singapore Air Force have attained full operational capability, according to an announcement issued by Singapore’s Ministry of Defense on Thursday.
The H225M medium-lift helicopters and CH-47F heavy-lift helicopters will replace the air force’s fleet of AS332M and CH-47D, respectively, according to the announcement.
The new helicopters will enable the Singapore Air Force to be more effective and capable in multiple missions, including troop lift, search and rescue, aeromedical evacuation, counter-terrorism, and humanitarian assistance, the announcement noted.
