Elderly man dies in bus hit

KATHMANDU: A 79-year-old Dambaru Prasad Niraula, a cyclist, resident of Sundarharaicha Municipality-8, died on Monday afternoon after being hit by bus number State 1-02-001 B 9519 on the road at Salakpur Chowk, Sundarharaicha Municipality-8.

He was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Nobel Hospital Biratnagar.

The police have arrested the bus driver and are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
