One dies, one injured in bike accident

KATHMANDU: A youth has died in an accident and one was injured after a motorcycle, registered as State 1-01-02-046 Pa 9044, veered out of control from Ramdhuni 6, Itahari-bound.
The accident occurred around 3:30 PM on Monday. The out-of-control motorcycle resulted in the death of 22-year-old Deepesh Chaudhary (pillion rider) of Ramdhuni-5.
Deepesh, who sustained severe injuries, was pronounced dead at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar at 5:10 PM.
The Sunasri District Police Office has informed about the incident.
Preliminary investigations by the police have revealed that the accident occurred due to excessive speed.
The injured motorcycle driver, Ramdhuni-5, is identified as 19-year-old Srijal Chaudhary, is undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar.
