KATHMANDU: Indira Giri, who served as a legislator representing the Nagarik Unmukti Party in Sudurpaschim State, has been ousted from her post.
The expulsion came following the decisive action taken by Ranjita Shrestha, the Chairperson of the party, who initiated disciplinary measures against Giri and officially revoked her membership.
In response to the party’s internal decision, Speaker Bhim Bhandari released an official statement confirming Giri’s dismissal from her parliamentary role.
