KATHMANDU: Today witnessed a historic surge in the price of gold, with the rate reaching an all-time high of 135,600 per tola.
The business for 24-carat gold was conducted at 135,600 per tola, marking an increase of 2,700 from Friday’s rate.
Similarly, the price of silver also saw a significant rise, climbing by 55 to reach 1,670 per tola.
Meanwhile, Tejabi experienced a surge as well, with its price soaring to 134,950 per tola, marking an increment of 2,900.
The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the substantial rise in prices reflects ongoing trends in the international market.
