KATHMANDU: Police arrested 35-year-old Prakash Pariyar of Khotang, Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality-2 Nali on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl on Thursday afternoon.

The police stationed at Diprung Chuichumma police station arrested Pariyar on the basis of a complaint that he raped the minor into his house.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
