Nepal loses toss against Baroda in SMS Friendship Cup

KATHMANDU: Nepal lost the toss against Baroda.
After losing the toss in the SMS Friendship Cup, they were invited to field.
Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel, along with Sompal Kami, Avinash Bohora, and Aasif Sheikh, will be resting today for fielding purposes, while Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Akash Chand are included in team.
In Rohit’s absence, Dipendra Singh Airee will lead the team today.
The Nepali team includes Dipendra Singh Airee (Captain), Kushal Bhurtel, Anil Sah, Kushal Malla, Sandeep Jora, Vivek Yadav, Gulshan Jha, Pratish GC, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, and Akash Chand.
Nepal has previously won all three matches and reached the final, while the team from the Gujarat Cricket Association defeated Baroda in both matches to reach the final.
Baroda has been eliminated from the tournament after losing all their previous matches, so the outcome of this game will not affect either team significantly.
The final between Nepal and the Gujarat Cricket Association team will take place on Sunday.
