Tractor fell of the cliff, 2 dead

KATHMANDU: Two people died on the spot when a tractor accident occurred in Jhoulek of Baitadi on Friday morning.

A tractor bearing the number SE 2 Ta 3678, traveling from Baitadi’s Surnaya to Khodpe, was involved in an accident at the Patan Municipality-8 Jhoulek intersection on the Jaiprithvi Highway.

Police Inspector Khem Bikram KC of the Baitadi District Police Office verified that two individuals perished in the tragedy and identified the driver of the unreported tractor as Rajesh Chaudhary.

The tractor involved in the collision fell 200 meters off the road.

Police inspector KC stated that the reason of the collision has not been determined.
