Bimala Ghimire nominated as vice-chair of NA

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is set to appoint Bimala Ghimire as Vice-Chair of the National Assembly.

According to the agreement reached in the alliance, UML has decided to make Ghimire a candidate.

When the new coalition is created, the Maoists and the UML vice president will head the National Assembly, as promised. Accordingly, Vice Chair of UML has claimed.

On the other side, it is reported that the CPN-S would also seek the position of Vice Chair.
