KATHMANDU: A police constable was found dead in the jungle.
Suraj Ram Luhar, 26, of Shailashikhar Municipality-6 in Darchula, was discovered dead in the jungle on Thursday evening.
The body of Luhar, found in the jungle within the community forest of Manhera in Ward No. 7 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, was informed to the district police office, Kailali, by Lokendra Singh Karki, inspector of the Kailali district police office.
Luhar was on duty at the District Police Office, Bajhang.
It has been revealed that he had returned to Dhangadhi on home leave a few days ago.
The body has been taken to the Seti State Hospital for post-mortem examination after preparing the report.
Inspector Karki stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
