Accident in Dang: 22 passengers injured, 2 in critical condition
The individuals in critical condition due to the accident are Laxman Tharu from Gadawa Rural Municipality-2 and Chandra Kamal Thapa, aged 78, from Rapti Rural Municipality-2, Lalmatiya.
KATHMANDU: Today in Dang, an accident occurred when two passenger buses collided, resulting in injuries to 22 passengers.
Among the injured, the condition of two individuals is reported to be serious. Shankar Shrestha, Inspector of Lamahi Police Office, confirmed the severity of their condition.
The individuals in critical condition due to the accident are Laxman Tharu from Gadawa Rural Municipality-2 and Chandra Kamal Thapa, aged 78, from Rapti Rural Municipality-2, Lalmatiya.
Tharu is identified as the driver of one of the buses involved in the accident.
They have been transported to Nepalgunj for further treatment after receiving initial medical care at Lamahi Hospital.
The accident occurred when two buses, one with the registration number Lu 1 Kha 7363 traveling from Butwal to Surkhet and the other with the registration number Ra 1 Kha 2581 traveling from Tulsipur to Butwal, collided.
