KATHMANDU: Nepal’s current weather is being influenced by a mix of western and local winds, causing noticeable changes, especially in the hilly regions and extending into Sudurpaschim State.

The Weather Forecast Division predicts partly cloudy to mainly clear skies in the rest of the country.
In the afternoon, scattered light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali States.
There’s a chance of light snowfall in isolated areas of the high hills and Himalayan regions.
As night approaches, the weather is forecasted to be partly to mostly cloudy in Sudurpaschim and Karnali States.
During the night, sporadic light rain with thunder and lightning is possible in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki States.
The Division also suggests the potential for light snowfall in some high hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki and Karnali States on Wednesday.
