Husband held for murdering wife in Tehrathum

KATHMANDU: A man in Myanglung Municipality-6, Surke of Tehrathum district has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon.

The incident occurred during a domestic dispute, where 46-year-old Deepak Limbu allegedly attacked his 54-year-old wife, Subash Kumari Limbu, with a sharp weapon, resulting in her death at the scene.

Deepak, the alleged perpetrator of the crime, was apprehended by a police team dispatched from the district police office in Tehrathum.

The body has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem examination.

Further investigation into the incident is underway by the district police office in Tehrathum.
