KATHMANDU: In a thrilling final match between Nepal and Ireland, Nepal emerged victorious by a narrow margin of 3 runs.

Nepal set a target of 214 runs, which Ireland chased down with a loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs, falling short by 3 runs.

Opener Ross Adair contributed 31 runs off 14 balls for Ireland, while James McCollum scored 4 runs and Peter Moor added 2 runs before getting out.

Captain Neil Rock managed to add only 2 runs before being dismissed, while Tapin contributed 60 runs and Delany scored 68 runs before being bowled out.

In the last over, Ireland needed 20 runs to win. However, Finn Handley’s 22 runs were not enough to secure victory for Ireland. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets for Nepal, conceding 23 runs in 4 overs.
