Child dies of drowning

KATHMANDU: An 8-year-old Dilip Sah Turaha, son of Raju Sah Turaha of Bahadurmai Municipality-6, Gamhariya, Parsa died on Sunday afternoon after drowning in a pond in the same municipality.

He drowned in the pond while taking a bath and died during treatment at Narayani Hospital Birgunj.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
