KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepalese market reached historic levels today (Monday), continuing its upward trajectory.

Chhapawal gold, which was valued at Rs. 130,000 per tola on Sunday, witnessed a significant increase of Rs. 1,600 per tola today.

As of today, gold is being traded at Rs. 131,600 per tola, marking the highest price ever recorded in the market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 130,950 per tola.

Additionally, the price of silver has seen a notable rise, reaching Rs. 1,535 per tola on this day.
