26-year-old son held for murdering mother in Makwanpur

KATHMANDU: The police have apprehended an individual on allegations of murdering his mother in Makwanpur.
According to the Bagmati State Police Office in Hetauda, Milan Gamal, the son, has been taken into custody for the murder of his mother, Gyani Maya Gamal, in Tallo Bisingkhel of Thaha Municipality-10.
The Bagmati State Police Office disclosed that the incident occurred due to a domestic dispute.
On the morning of March 13, around 10 AM, when locals summoned the police after finding the house door locked, the Chitlang Police Station in the area was informed.
Upon reaching, the police found Gyani Maya, aged 50, lying lifeless on her bed.
After conducting initial investigations and examining the body, the police sent it to the Teaching Hospital for further forensic examination.
Subsequent investigations and local inquiries led to the revelation that the 26-year-old son, Milan Gamal, was responsible for the murder, allegedly due to a domestic dispute.
According to the State Police Office, the Palung area police office has arrested the accused Milan from Thaha Municipality-10 and other investigations are underway.
