Light rain is falling in parts of the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali states, coupled with gusts and thunderstorms.
As the day develops, a mix of clouds is expected over the mountainous areas, with partial cloudiness elsewhere.
Isolated thunderstorms with light rain are likely in certain areas of Gandaki State throughout the afternoon.
In addition, light snowfall is possible in the high-altitude parts of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
Clear skies are expected for the Karnali and Gandaki States overnight, while other places will likely stay steady.
Isolated snow showers may occur in Gandaki State’s high highlands and Himalayan zones.
Residents in the mountainous parts of the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali States should stay careful since periodic thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds are expected to accompany the forecast rains.
