KATHMANDU: Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has conducted banking literacy programs in various locations across Dhading district.

The bank organized financial literacy programs for women at Shree Sundardeep Mahila Bikas Multipurpose Cooperative in Ward No. 5 of Rorang Rural Municipality and for local residents in Ward No. 10 of Thulopokhari in Thakre Rural Municipality.

During these programs, participants were educated on important aspects of banking operations, digital banking technologies, and various dimensions of the banking sector. The campaign aimed to raise awareness at the local level regarding financial transactions and to enhance accessibility to financial services.

The focus of these initiatives was to provide information on topics such as digital banking practices and the diverse dimensions of the banking sector.

The bank’s objective through this campaign was to promote awareness of financial transactions at the local level and to increase accessibility to financial services.

Also, to encourage digital transactions, the bank has arranged that by using this Bikas Bank’s ATM Card, money can be withdrawn free of charge from any other bank’s ATM Machine belonging to the VISA Network across Nepal.

Similarly, services such as prepaid dollar card, mobile banking, QR code, online loan application, online account opening, internet banking, remittance deposit in the account and missedcall banking (for savings service: 9801110022, for loan service: 9801110023) etc. can be used from home without physically being present at the bank branch.
