Microbus collides with stopped bus, 8 injured
The District Police Office in Chitwan reported that the injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Bharatpur.
KATHMANDU: Eight individuals sustained injuries in a microbus accident this morning in Ramnagar along the Muglin-Narayangadh road.
In Bharatpur-1, Ramnagar of Chitwan, traffic police intervened when a Bagmati State 01-006 Kha 4888 bus and a microbus with the registration number Ga 2 Kha 225 collided uncontrollably.
Among those injured are 44-year-old Meena Sapkota from Bharatpur Manpa-11, 40-year-old Keshar Sah from Bharatpur-5, 44-year-old Menka Tamang from Bharatpur-21, 53-year-old Hariram Dhakal from Bharatpur-14, 51-year-old Dhanumaya Dhakal, 30-year-old Kashi Uparkoti from Bharatpur-2, 47-year-old Tul Bahadur Ghale from Bharatpur-20, and 26-year-old Preeti Ramtel from Gorkha Siranchowk-1.
The District Police Office in Chitwan reported that the injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Bharatpur.
Additionally, the accident caused damage to a motorcycle garage operated by local resident Kamal Bahadur Neupane.
