KATHMANDU: Since its establishment in 2068 BS in Devghat, Chitwan district, Shree Gargi Kanya Gurukul has been dedicated to creating an environment conducive to providing appropriate education and fostering self-reliance among young women.

This institution stands out as Nepal’s first inclusive Gurukul, welcoming female students from various backgrounds without any discrimination, offering education from grades 6 to 12 following the government curriculum, including Sanskrit instruction, alongside provisions for free meals and accommodation.

In line with its noble mission to educate and instill dignity in girls who might otherwise face societal oppression due to poverty or caste, Shree Gargi Kanya Gurukul Institution has garnered support from Citizen Life Insurance Company.

This partnership underscores the commitment of both parties towards social responsibility. Mr. Bhushan Rimal, Chief Market Management Officer of Citizen Life Insurance Company, and Ms. Rita Pathak, Corporate Sales Head, along with Dr. Man Kaflé, Vice-Chairperson of Shree Gargi Kanya Gurukul Institution, and Advisor Ms. Bhagwati Kumar Kaflé, facilitated a transfer of Rs 300,000 as a gesture of support.
