Man dies in bus-bike collision in Itahari

KATHMANDU: A collision occurred between a bus and a motorcycle in Sunsari, Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-10.
The bus, identified by its number plate May 1 B 2734, and a motorcycle bearing the number Ko 29 Pa 4767 collided on the roads of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-10, Sambidhan Chowk on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision resulted in severe injuries to the motorcyclist, who was rushed to Koshi Hospital Biratnagar for urgent medical attention.
Despite efforts by medical personnel, the victim succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Bhoj Kumar Shrestha (37) of same Sub-Metropolitan City-5.
Authorities have taken swift action in response to the incident, detaining the bus driver involved in the collision.
Police are currently conducting investigations to determine the circumstances leading to the tragic accident.
