Weather: Partial rainfall expected in parts of Nepal

KATHMANDU: According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there are ongoing changes in the weather patterns across Nepal

Currently, there is light rainfall with occasional thunderstorms in some areas of Madhesh and Bagmati States.

In the eastern regions such as Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, there have been slight to moderate changes in the hilly regions, while the weather remains mostly clear in other areas.

There’s a possibility of light rainfall with thunderstorms in some parts of the hills and moderate snowfall in a few high-altitude areas.

In Karnali and Sudurpashchim States, similar partial changes are observed with localized impacts, while the weather stays clear in other regions.

There’s also a likelihood of light rainfall with thunderstorms in some parts of the hilly areas in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.

Overall, these weather variations indicate a transitional phase in Nepal’s weather patterns, with some regions experiencing light rainfall and others maintaining clear skies.
