KATHMANDU: Nepal has won the toss and elected to bat first in the second T20 match against Ireland Wolves, set to be held at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel won the toss and elected to bat first in the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Two changes have been made in the Nepalese team today.

Anil Kumar Sah and Vivek Kumar Yadav got a chance in today’s match.

Dipendra Singh Airi and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi are on the bench.

In the previous face-off between the two sides on Monday, Nepal demonstrated their prowess with a commanding performance, clinching victory by six wickets against the visiting team.

Following the T20 series, Nepal ‘A’ is slated to participate in a series comprising three T20s and three ODIs against Ireland Wolves.

Nepal’s team includes Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Rohit Paudel, Kushal Malla, Abhinash Bohara, Sandeep Jora, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Anil Kumar Shah, Vivek Kumar Yadav and Gulsan Jha.

If they win today’s match, Nepal will take over the series. In the first match of this series held yesterday, Nepal defeated Ireland ‘A’ by six wickets.
