Accident in Achham: 5 dead, 2 wounded
All the deceased individuals are males, and their identities have not yet been disclosed.
KATHMANDU: A tractor accident in Suyadi of Mellekh Rural Municipality-7, Nandegada, Achham, on Monday morning has resulted in the loss of five lives, with two individuals sustaining injuries.
According to the police, the accident involved tractor number 01002 Taa 4979, which was traveling from Shodasha towards Samphe Bagar.
All the deceased individuals are males.
A 55-year-old Rang Dhami, 45-year-old Prem Dhami, 37-year-old Nar Bahadur Dhami, 15-year-old teenager Janak Dhami and 21-year-old youth Janak Dhami of Mellekh Rural Municipality-7 has been identified as victims.
All the deceased and injured are from the same local ward.
Lal Bahadur Dhami, aged 42, and Hans Dhami, aged 40, both residents of the same locality, along with an unidentified child, sustained injuries in the accident.
Achham Police reported that the injured individuals were transported to Bayalpata Hospital for medical treatment.
