Dive team mobilized to find missing children in Sunkoshi River

KATHMANDU: A diving team of armed police has been mobilized to search for missing children in the Sunkoshi River.

A diving team of the Armed Police Force has been mobilized to search for children who went missing in the Sunkoshi River during Holi on Sunday.

On Sunday, three children who had gone to swim in the Sunkoshi River at Dhaplang, Triyuga Municipality-14 of Udayapur went missing while playing Holi.

Armed Police Force No. 5 Triyuga Gana Udayapur searched till late on Sunday evening but could not find them, police said.

Co-spokesman DSP Shailendra Thapa informed that a team of nine divers under the command of Armed Police Inspector Umesh Kafle was mobilized this morning.
