Nepal experiences effects of western low pressure system & northeast indian low pressure
Weather Department reports changing weather patterns across the country.
KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated the presence of the Western Low Pressure System and the Northeast Indian Low Pressure Area affecting Nepal currently.
According to the department, there have been partial to generally cloudy conditions in some places in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, as well as in certain areas of State 2 and State 3.
Light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning has been observed in these regions.
During the daytime, there have been partial to generally cloudy conditions with the possibility of light rainfall in some parts of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, as well as in other areas of the country.
In the hilly regions of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, as well as in some parts of other States, there is a possibility of light snowfall along with thunder and lightning.
At night, there have been partial to generally cloudy conditions with the possibility of light rainfall in some hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, as well as in other regions.
There is also a chance of light snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly and Himalayan regions of these States.
The weather patterns have been changing partially to generally in the hilly regions of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, while remaining generally clear in other parts of the country.
In some hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, there is a possibility of light rainfall along with thunder and lightning.
Similarly, there is a possibility of light snowfall in some high-altitude hilly and Himalayan regions of these States.
