Welcome Advertising hosts celebration of holi, embracing unity & tradition

KATHMANDU: On this year’s Holi, Welcome Advertising celebrated the festival of colors in a grand manner, welcoming the auspicious occasion of the full moon with unity, harmony, brotherhood, friendship, and love, as symbols of the continuous celebration of social traditions and culture.

Holi, known as the festival of colors, is celebrated with great joy on the full moon day, “Phagun Purnima,” in Nepal. This time marks the abundance of spring colors and bidding farewell to the cold.

For Hindus, Holi is a festival celebrated by people of all ages and backgrounds across Nepal.

As the capital city, Kathmandu, serves as a tourist hub, this festival also attracts many foreigners. From ancient times, Holi has been celebrated as a symbol of the victory of truth over falsehood.

In the current society, where there’s a continuous push towards modernity, Welcome Group’s Chair Nirmalraj Paudel and Nita Paudel, along with the employees of Welcome Group, extended warm greetings for the festival of Holi, a joyful celebration marked by applying various colors. Such festivals not only foster a sense of unity but also signify the end of conflicts and provide relief from accumulated emotional baggage, while also instilling renewed enthusiasm for the betterment and revitalization of society. On this occasion, the employees of Welcome Group joined together in camaraderie, immersed in colors, songs, and dances, while exchanging hearty wishes of “Happy Holi” along with traditional Holi delicacies, celebrating the festival with great fervor.

In the program, the enthusiasm of the Holi festival was clearly seen after the employees were painted in different colors of Holi in white t-shirts.
