GIBL held ‘Financial Literacy Program’ across 111 branches with over 14,000 participants
With the objective of enhancing financial literacy and digital banking, GIBL operates programs through its network of 354 branch offices.

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has been conducting financial literacy programs targeting various marginalized groups outside the banking sector through its 111 branch offices.
As part of the Global Money Week 2024 initiative, the bank organized various programs nationwide, with the participation of over 14,000 farmers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), laborers, potential migrants for foreign employment, students, women, recipients of remittances, and local youths.
With the objective of enhancing financial literacy and digital banking, GIBL operates programs through its network of 354 branch offices.
The programs cover topics such as savings, loans, remittances, digital banking, insurance, investment, additional banking services, financial fraud, and financial discipline.
Being the first commercial bank in the private sector with branch networks in almost all districts of the country, GIBL operates 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 67 extensions, revenue collection counters, and 3 foreign representative offices, totaling more than 1,100 service centers.
