Industrialist Binod Chaudhary departs for Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Member of Parliament and prominent industrialist Binod Chaudhary has flown to Sri Lanka after providing a statement at the public prosecutor’s office regarding the Bansbari land case on Thursday morning.

Sources from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) confirmed Chaudhary’s departure on a Sri Lankan Airlines flight at 1:57 pm on Thursday.

It is reported that his trip abroad is for routine business engagements.

Chaudhary’s departure comes amidst ongoing legal proceedings related to the Bansbari land case, adding another layer of intrigue to the unfolding developments.
