KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrometeorology, Weather Forecasting Division, reports a mixed weather pattern across Nepal, influenced by a western low-pressure system and local air.
The hilly areas, including Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, are experiencing mostly clear weather, while scattered to light rain with thunder and lightning is observed in parts of the Sudurpaschim and Karnali States.
Additionally, light snowfall is occurring in high hilly and Himalayan areas of these regions.
In the afternoon, partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected with a possibility of scattered to light rain and thunder in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati States.
Light snowfall may also occur in high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
Nighttime forecasts indicate partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions in hilly areas, with scattered to light rain and thunder possible in some regions.
Light snowfall is anticipated in high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi and Bagmati States.
