Police Petrol pumps to 24/7 operations following Home Minister’s orders
Previously, police-operated petrol pumps operated from 6 am to 11 pm.

KATHMANDU: The petrol pumps operated by Nepal Police will now operate 24 hours a day.
In response to directives from Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, Nepal Police’s central office in Naxal, the Armed Police Force’s headquarters in Halchowk, and police-operated petrol pumps in Pokhara will commence 24-hour operations starting today.
Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General, relayed that following the Deputy Prime Minister’s instruction to keep petrol pumps operational round-the-clock, they will now remain open continuously.
Previously, police-operated petrol pumps operated from 6 am to 11 pm.
Dhakal stated, ‘We have extended the petrol pump operating hours as per the minister’s directive for 24-hour service.
