Fire gutted property worth Rs 500,000 in Bhimphedi

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out early Thursday morning in the house of 42-year-old Sitaram BK, in Ward 9 of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality.

The inferno ravaged through the entire household, consuming belongings and essentials estimated to be worth around Rs 500,000.

Prompt response from the local police authorities, bolstered by the collaborative efforts of the community members, helped contain the blaze.

Concurrently, investigations into the incident have been initiated to ascertain the cause and extent of the damage, ensuring comprehensive scrutiny of the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
