Gold prices hit historic high; silver also surged
The price of gold has risen by Rs 2,600 per tola to reach Rs 127,800 per tola, compared to Rs 125,200 per tola in the previous trading session on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU: Gold prices have surged to historic highs in the Nepali market today (Thursday).
The price of gold has risen by Rs 2,600 per tola to reach Rs 127,800 per tola, compared to Rs 125,200 per tola in the previous trading session on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, silver has also witnessed a significant increase in its value.
Today, the price of silver has climbed to Rs 1,555 per tola, marking an increment of Rs 35 per tola from the previous day’s rate. The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association has reported these figures.
This surge in gold and silver prices comes after a record-breaking performance last month, where gold reached Rs 126,000 per tola, breaking the previous record within just nine days.
The current silver price stands at Rs 1,555 per tola in the market today.
