Prabowo Subianto wins the presidency of Indonesia

KATHMANDU: Jodi Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka have emerged victorious in Indonesia’s 2024 presidential election as announced by the country’s General Election Commission (KPU) on Wednesday.

According to the official tally, the Prabowo-Gibran ticket garnered a total of 962,014,691 votes.

Prabowo currently serves as the Minister of Defense, while Gibran holds the position of mayor in Solo and is the son of the incumbent President, Joko Widodo.
