One dies, one seriously injured in bike accident

KATHMANDU: A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on a road in Madhyabindu Municipality-11, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to two others.

The incident took place on the inner road of Damarchowk in Madhyabindu-11, when motorcycle with registration number Lu 76 Pa 1621, heading towards Tamaspur from Damara, met with an accident.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Vedh Bahadur Paudel of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi, the rider of the motorcycle, 30-year-old Anil BK of Madhyabindu Municipality-11, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment this morning.

Ajay Thakuri, 25, another resident of Madhyabindu-11, who was seriously injured in the accident, is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, while Krishna Bahadur BK, 28, the motorcycle driver, is under police control, informed Police Inspector Paudel.

This incident marks the second fatal accident in Madhyavindu Municipality-11, Damara, this week, where one person lost their life and two others sustained injuries.
