Son held for murdering father

KATHMANDU: Twenty-two-year-old Laldev Sada, a resident of Sakhbani Naya Basti, Saptakoshi Municipality-3, Saptari, was arrested by police on Wednesday morning for allegedly murdering his father, 45-year-old Hirai Sada.
Reports indicate that Laldev allegedly strike his father with an ax during a domestic dispute, resulting in the immediate death of his father, Hirai Sada.
Additionally, 65-year-old Dashan Sada, a neighbor, sustained injuries from the incident and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital in Phattepur.
Following the incident, authorities from the Phattepur police station promptly apprehended Laldev.
The police have launched an investigation into the matter to gather further details and ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
