Prabhu Capital conducts Visit Merchant Bank program on the occasion of Global Money Week 2024

KATHMANDU: Prabhu Capital Limited on the occasion of Global Money Week 2024 successfully conducted a financial literacy program under the Visit Merchant Bank initiative on Chaith 7 (March 20).

Recognizing the significance of financial education, especially among adolescents and youth, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) celebrates Global Money Week annually from March 22nd to 28th to raise awareness.

This year, Prabhu Capital organized various programs to educate students pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Kathmandu College of Management. Led by Durga Nand Jha, Chief Investment Officer of Prabhu Capital Limited, students gained insights into the operations and methodologies of merchant banks, as well as knowledge about capital markets, investments, and risk management.

During the program, instructors elaborated on the tasks and methodologies of merchant banks, providing comprehensive explanations about various tools and techniques in the capital market and shedding light on opportunities and risks.

Emphasizing that even individuals at a young age can build wealth through integrated financial planning, risk identification, and management, the sessions covered investment strategies and the opportunities and challenges associated with various investments.

Additionally, students were given the opportunity to visit different departments of Prabhu Capital, where they received further insights into share investment and risk management through timely training, workshops, and awareness programs.

Prabhu Capital has been consistently organizing various training, workshops, and awareness programs related to share investment and risk management to enhance financial literacy.

As part of its plan for Global Money Week, Prabhu Capital intends to continue conducting diverse programs related to investment and risk management.
