Woman held on indecent behavior at Biratnagar hostel released on bail
A woman, identified as Madhu Regmi Katwal, 50, the operator of Moonlight Girls Hostel at Madhumara in Biratnagar, has been released on bail of Rs 41,000 after being arrested on charges of indecent behavior and mistreatment of students.
KATHMANDU: A woman who was arrested on charges of indecent behavior in girl’s hostel student in Biratnagar has been released from prison.
A woman, identified as Madhu Regmi Katwal, 50, the operator of Moonlight Girls Hostel at Madhumara in Biratnagar, has been released on bail of Rs 41,000 after being arrested on charges of indecent behavior and mistreatment of students.
Regmi, accused of assaulting and mistreating a student, was apprehended following allegations of misconduct at the Biratnagar Nursing Campus where she was involved in the study of BN (Bachelor of Nursing) and BSc Nursing.
She was arrested on Wednesday after being accused of misconduct against three female students who were pursuing their studies at BN and BSc Nursing at the Biratnagar Nursing Campus.
After her arrest by the Morang police, she was subjected to further investigation following an extension of the detention period on charges of misconduct.
