KATHMANDU: During the landing of Shree Airlines flight number ANH 227 from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi on Monday, a wheel of the aircraft skidded.

After the incident, the police stationed at the airport office and the airport staff were deployed to search for a wheel that had fallen during the landing, and the wheel was found in the bushes.
As a result, the aircraft is currently grounded at Dhangadhi Airport.
Ganesh Bahadur Singh, the chief of Dhangadhi Airport, explained that technical issues were identified in the aircraft after the incident on Monday.
He stated, “The aircraft is grounded now, and it will only be allowed to fly again after technical inspections. This is not a major issue; it’s a technical problem, and we will have clarity after the technical inspection.”
According to Singh, once the technical inspection is completed, the aircraft will be permitted to resume flights.
