Renowned author Parshu Pradhan passes away at 80
He breathed his last at his residence in Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU: Renowned litterateur and storyteller Parshu Pradhan has passed away at the age of 80.
He breathed his last at his residence in Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
According to family sources, Pradhan’s funeral procession will take place at Pashupati Aryaghat after 9 a.m.
Pradhan was born in 2000 BS in Bhojpur.
Having studied Nepali literature and political science at the Master’s level, Pradhan began his literary journey in Nepali literature in 2016.
He has published 13 collections of short stories, including “Bakrarekha,” “Feri Aakraman,” “Yauta Arko Dantyakatha,” “Asambaddha,” and “Samudrama Astaune Surya”
He has also published novels like “Sita Haru” and “Ghar Katha” and around a dozen children’s stories.
His works include “Nani ko Katha,” “Sunko Chhati,” and “Rita ko School” among others.
Pradhan is survived by two sons and two daughters, with journalist Pratik Pradhan being one of them.
