11 held for gambling

KATHMANDU: In Mahalaxmi Municipality-9, Lubhu Lamatar, Bhugunge Chowk, Lalitpur, Hari Bol Chaulagain, aged 47, was caught by the police on Saturday afternoon while gambling at his residence.

Along with Chaulagain, 11 others were also apprehended.

The police, based at the District Police Office in Lalitpur, apprehended them with a sum of Rs 364,120 in cash and 69 decks of cards seized from them.

Further investigation into the matter is underway by the authorities.
