Partly cloudy skies prevail in Nepal as western low pressure system influences weather

KATHMANDU: Currently, Nepal is experiencing partial influence from a western low-pressure system and local winds.

The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Water and Meteorology reports that the weather in the hilly regions of the country is partly cloudy, while the rest of the area remains mainly clear.

This afternoon, the department predicts partly to mostly cloudy weather nationwide, with a chance of light snowfall in isolated high hilly and Himalayan areas.

Tonight, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear across the country.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki province, according to the department.
