KATHMANDU: A money transfer operator, identified as 26-year-old Nitesh Kumar Sah, was shot in Paroha Municipality-9, Khap Rautahat on Friday.
Sah, the proprietor of Shiva IME Money Transfer, sustained serious injuries in the shooting and has been transported to Birgunj for medical treatment.
Police have swiftly taken action, apprehending three individuals believed to be involved in the shooting.
They were attempting to escape on a motorcycle after shooting, but security forces deployed from BOP Rampurkhap apprehended them at the Ghiura border.
The arrested individuals are Manish Kumar Yadav, Raja Kumar Paswan, and Chandraban Singh.
All three suspects are Indian nationals and are currently in custody as the investigation into the incident unfolds.
Additionally, during a search in Ghiura Bansbari, authorities discovered a discarded cord-cut pistol.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and authorities are conducting an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the attack.
