Husband held for murdering wife

KATHMANDU: Ram Sital Tatma, 56, residing in Sitapur of Laxmipurpatari-6, Siraha, has been arrested by the police on Wednesday afternoon on the charge of the murder of his own wife, 40-year-old Kumari Devi Das.

The arrest comes after reports emerged alleging that Das was found dead at the crime scene, purportedly killed by a sharp weapon, likely a khukuri, as stated by the authorities.

He was apprehended by the police from Sitapur and the Area Police Office, Lahan.

Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
