Explosion occurs at Nepal Telecom tower in Sindhuli

A cooker bomb was detonated in the tower of Nepal Telecom located in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality 1 Dumja of the district.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson for Sindhuli, Chiranjivi Dahal, provided information regarding the incident, stating, “Around 3 in the morning, locals reported the sound of an explosion. Upon reaching the site, our team confirmed the detonation of a pressure cooker bomb.”
Although the perpetrator of the explosion has not been identified, a leaflet claiming responsibility was found at the scene, purportedly written by the People’s Liberation Army.
Additionally, police found two bottles emitting the smell of petrol at the explosion site.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
