Woman held for misconducting students at Biratnagar Girls’ Hostel

KATHMANDU: A woman has been apprehended by the police for misconduct towards students at a girls’ hostel in Biratnagar.

Madhu Regmi Katwal, the manager of the Moonlight Girls’ Hostel in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-8, Madhumara was arrested.

According to sources, she was accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior and misconduct towards three students studying at the Biratnagar Nursing Campus on Tuesday afternoon.

Based on the evidence of a video depicting the misconduct, which surfaced on social media, and the complaint filed by the affected student to the police, she was taken into custody.

According to Morang Police Chief SP Nawaraj Karki, she has been detained on charges of indecent behavior, with further investigations ongoing.
